Who we are
Nomadic Lovers is a travel blog run by Clare and Aurita. This policy explains what information we collect when you use nomadiclovers.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and the message you send us, so we can reply.
- Email sign-ups: your email address if you subscribe to updates or request the free house and pet sitting guide.
- Usage data: anonymous, aggregated information about which pages and links are visited, so we know what is useful.
We do not collect payment details on this site. Purchases are completed on Beacons, which handles checkout and payment processing under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
To reply to you, to send the guides or updates you asked for, and to understand which content is worth writing more of. We never sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that run this site, our email delivery and our checkout.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. Outbound links to our Beacons page may carry campaign tags (UTM parameters) so we can see which posts are helpful. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Third parties
Our digital products are sold and delivered through Beacons. Our site and database are hosted by our platform provider. Instagram links take you to Meta's platform. Each of these has its own privacy policy that applies once you are on their service.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry. Email sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Just get in touch and we will action it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
